How Many Bielsa Gnomes have been released?

There have been four 'El Loco' gnomes released in tribute to Leeds United championship winning manager Marcelo Bielsa since they were released in November 2020.

The original black tracksuit gnome was the first release in November 2020 shortly after Bielsa took Leeds to the Premier League. The initial release of 1000 gnomes were all snapped up within a few weeks and more batches have been made and on a regular basis right up to Christmas 2024. Find out more here. 

The limited edition 'Crouching Grey Tracksuit' version quickly followed in April 2021 and were snapped up very quickly. These will not be remade and have been in high demand by collectors ever since.

In Marcelo's last season in charge saw him sporting a blue tracksuit and a blue tracksuit 'bucket' version was released after his departure in April 2022. These were limited to 300 pieces.

Despite the great man departing two years prior, the requests for another release of the crouching version continued, so a 'Blue Crouching version' was released in 2024, limited to 500 pieces.

There has also been two Bielsa Christmas decorations- a home kit version and a yellow away kit version, inspired by the Bielsa Redeemer mural. Profits from this release helped fund the Eddie Gray mural close to Elland Road.
